	The files in the disk area PUB,JMC at SU-AI constitute
McCarthy's electronic magazine.  The magazine is intended to
cover controversial issues in computer science, technology in
general, and social and political issues.  It also contains
comments by readers on the articles.  The comments have the
same first name as the article and numbers as second names.
Comments and articles should be sent as ARPAnet messages to
MCCARTHY@SU-AI.  Although the area is currently unprotected,
please don't log in as PUB,JMC.  The files can be typed without
logging in at all.  They can also be transferred by FTP.
